I have to agree with the other 5-star reviews Kofi has received on this site. If I could give him more than 5-stars, I most definitely would! Kofi and his dream-team were simply outstanding. Purchasing a home is a huge decision and I am so grateful to have had Kofi and Amber by my side. Having the right broker makes all the difference in the world and I would recommend Kofi in a heartbeat. Should I ever be in the market for a new home again, Kofi will be my first call! Here are some of the areas in which he truly excelled: 1. His amazing team: Amber and Laurent were a great help in addition to the rest of the Beach Cities team that Kofi has developed. His team is extremely knowledgeable, responsible, and receptive. They make sure to keep the process moving along, and I felt just as comfortable working with them as I did with Kofi. 2. His super search skills: Kofi would send me new listings every morning- It was a great to wake up to see new homes that had just come on the MLS (or to see price changes in homes that I was already interested in). The listings were all within my selected price range, and all in the particular neighborhood that I liked. The listings which Kofi sent me reflected his understanding of what I was looking for, which really helped to put me at ease. 3. To expand more on my above point, Kofi listened carefully to what I wanted and then picked up on it right away. He looked for homes matching the style that I was going for as opposed to trying to sell me on something that really was not for me. He knew when to negotiate, when to push, and when to stop. He is very intuitive when it comes to the art of negotiating real estate and made sure that I got the ideal house at the ideal price. 4. He stayed on top of everything: I didn't have to worry about anything other than signing on the dotted line! During each step of the process, he was there to let me know what had to be done. Kofi and Amber sent me every document needed- I never once had to try to get their attention or ask them what more needed to be done- they were extremely thorough in making sure I was educated all along the way. 5. His communication style: Whenever I emailed or called him, Kofi got back to me quickly with the answers to my questions, or with any guidance that I was seeking. I never had to wonder if he (or Amber) would get back to me- I knew that one of them would, and it generally would be within minutes, if not sooner. 6. His personality: Kofi is thoughtful, talented, smart, considerate, measured, friendly, and funny. He is a calming presence during a stressful time. He's like a broker, a friend, and a therapist all in one! You just can't beat that. Thank you Kofi!
